Combing SAS and R for Stronger Benefits

On the last day for presentations at PharmaSUG 2016, our clients engineer, Diana, presented the reasons to combine SAS and R and the benefits that resulted.

Diana is a Senior Statistical Programmer working in the Clinical Research Industry.  The depth of her experience and understanding with SAS and R provided a clear pathway for explaining how both data analysis tools can be used to produce better results.

Her presentation was geared towards experienced SAS users who don’t want to totally switch to R, but want to use the advantages of both software’s. It introduced a minimal amount of R commands to get things working and also described how to call R routines from SAS in order to create beautiful graphs.
