Engineers Take Part in Vyshyvanka Day

What is Vyshyvankas Day?

Vyshyvankas Day in Ukraine is a national holiday where people in Ukraine and abroad wear Ukrainian traditional embroidered shirts.  The holiday is celebrated on the 3rd Thursday of May.

Embroidery in Ukraine dates back to to prehistoric times in the Neolithic Eneolithic Trypillian culture and each year the people of Ukraine celebrate by wearing embroidered shirts.
