UCF’s Statistics and Data Sciences Department held their 10th annual Big Data Analytics Symposium on March 22 in partnership with Women in Data Sciences. Intego Clinical participated and this was our 4th year sponsoring the event. It was refreshing to be participating wholly in-person this year!
This day-long series of speakers and networking opportunities connect students to industry professionals to explore the practical applications of big data and data analytics in the modern marketplace. The symposium has become an integral resource for connecting UCF students with employers from companies at the top of their industry. For Intego, the symposium has proven a successful outreach event year-after-year for bringing bright new talent to our Clinical SAS Internship and our Intego team.
Donnelle LaDouceur, Director of Operational Excellence and Iryna Kotenko, Director of Biometrics were in attendance this year. Donnelle briefly introduced Intego Clinical and the Clinical SAS Internship to the audience after the Keynote address. Throughout the day, there was a consistent flow of students at the Intego booth asking questions and engaging in lively discussions. The roundtable session comprised three 10-minute rotations through company tables where many UCF students took the opportunity to introduce themselves and get to know more about Intego Clinical and the Internship opportunity which offers a career growth structure for students entering the field.
Intego Clinical employs a large team of Statistical Programmers, Data Managers, and Data Scientists across our global operations Ukraine, Poland and the USA; our USA office is conveniently located near the UCF campus in Maitland, FL.
